What actually gets set, and by whom

Nothing on this site needs a cookie in order to work. You can read every page, see every price, and call me without accepting anything. What follows is the complete list of what loads if you do accept.

Google Maps, in the footer

The map showing my Google Business Profile is an embed served by Google. Loading it sends your IP address to Google and lets Google set its own cookies. Until you accept, the footer shows a plain link to the listing instead, which does nothing until you click it.

Google reviews, via Elfsight

My reviews are displayed by a third-party widget from Elfsight, which loads a script from their servers and pulls the review content from Google. That means your IP goes to Elfsight and to Google, and the widget uses its own storage. Until you accept, you get a link to read the same reviews on Google directly.

Analytics, once the site goes live

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are wired into the site but are not switched on yet. They go live when the site moves to its production domain. Both are gated by exactly the same choice you make here, so a decision you record today still applies when they start.

What is not here

No advertising cookies, no retargeting pixels, no data broker tags, and nothing that tries to identify you personally. I am a dog trainer, not an ad network.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or an extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site treats it as a refusal automatically. You will not see the cookie banner at all, and nothing that tracks will load, even if a previous acceptance is still stored. GPC is a legally recognised opt-out in several states and it overrides everything else here.

The panel above tells you whether a GPC signal is being detected right now, so you can check that your browser is sending what you think it is sending.

Your choice is kept in your own browser’s local storage under the key wl-cookie-consent. It is not sent anywhere, and clearing your browser data clears it. Because it is per-browser, a choice made on your phone does not carry to your laptop.
